I don't see the RSX assembly working. There are tons of our cars around, find one in a junk yard that go hit in the rear and totaled. Let us know how this goes for you.

i am keeping my D17 will they work with the engine wiring harness?
It is not the engine harness it is just the interior harness. The only sensors are the clutch pedal position for start up, clutch pedal for cruise, and brake pedal sensor. All of these are a simple open close type switch (ground loop that the switch breaks or completes). The only difference I can see is the actual connector (the civic may not fit to the RSX), so what you need to do is get the connectors. Even if you can't make the connectors fit you could just splice the wires together. As far as the gas pedal all that it is the Throttle Cable and it is the same setup (I used the civic for the RSX cable). So to answer your question provided that it bolts up the same it will fit fine. You may just either have to splice or get the RSX male and female connectors.
Now when you do the auto to manual swap you can make it work a couple of different ways. To wire the clutch pedal correctly you need to find the light green wire. I can send you the clip and pin position. You then need to either run it to ground (you will not have to push in the clutch to start), or you need to extend it wiring it to the clutch pedal postion sensor connector green wire. Then take the black and run it to ground. This completes the circuit for this connection when you push in the clutch (as if the car was in park for and auto) . For the reverse lights you need to make a harness that goes from the reverse switch on the tranny, through the firewall and to the revers relay. Cut the two of the wires (I forget the colors I will PM you tomorrow) and splice them in, this will give you reverse lights. There is a couple more wires that need grounded that would normally go to the auto tranny to make things work. I will try to look them up and send them with the PM tomorrow.
OK, this should allow you to use the RSX pedals, auto ECU and, complete the swap with the correct wiring.
Hope this helps
