***UPDATED***headunit problems, now keyless entry also
Alright i bought a pioneer 6800 and installed it myself the other day just really quick with electrical tape, now i went about some connectors to hook it up and now i have nothing at all, there is no power to the headunit and the keyless entry doesnt work either, i checked fuses but they seem to be fine. I have even rewired with electrical tape and double checked the connections between the headunit and harness... Everything worked fine yesterday now all of the sudden its like dead basically lol... Any help before taking it back to bestbuy and having them install it? i have ran out of ideas... thanks...

so this should fix the remote entry and power up the headunit now?(well after i disconnect the battery and re-connect the wiring to the headunit.)
okay the backup fuse fixed the keyless entry.... now what about the black headunit still, its not getting power at all it seems like.

check on your radio harness if your getting constant and ignition power. if your getting both, check your ground wire, if all 3 are good, then you might need to push reset or something, or maybe a fuse in your headunit or in the back of the headunit. if you dont got power in 1 of your 2 power wires, check all fuses again.

the yellow and red wires going to your headunit are your 2 power wires, the yellow should always have power no matter the key position, and the red one only has power when the key is in acc or run. to check if you have power on those wires use a multimeter or test light. put one end of multimeter on ground and other end on yellow wire, then do the same on the red wire and ground and turn the key to acc. multimeter needs to be on volts dc.
