Hey i have gotten lots of PMs about the dump tube. Good to say I have it done and it is on the car and working well. I was going to take some pics of it when i got home but my GF has my camera. It took all of maybe 30 mins to make. I plan on making another to send out to jethot. I just need to cut out another flange. The piping is mandrel bent and looks great. It runs right next to the downtube. I will post pics ASAP....keep checking back

I will take it off is polish up the welds and flange.

Well I had it easy do to the fact i have slim fans. That made it nice to have some room to play with. Can't wait to make the second one and have it jethot blue.

This should give you a good 10 whp easy now that you don't have heat displacing the cool air in front of the block.

When you think about how much more cooling efficiency you gain, its very realistic. Think about all of that hot air blowing over the front of the block....it's going to be a hell of a lot hotter than it would when you route it down and out. Look at the difference in temps in that area. All of the air is coming straight out of the manifold. That's gonna be ballpark 700 degrees minimum when you're boosting. Imagine dropping that temperature down to below ambient air temp. Think of how much more efficiently your engine cooling system is going to be able to work....

If you think of it in this light, it might make alot more sense....

i guess youre right...but my wastegate hardly ever opens. im running low boost as it is, it pretty much only opens at WOT. so i guess for this reason it never made a difference for me when i didnt have my dumptube.
