i noticed the other night when i'm using the power windows my headlights dim a little bit.. i've got an aftermarket head unit, amp and 10" sub in the trunk.. do i need a new battery? alternator? something else?

Mine was doing that for a while too, I upgraded my grounding cables and also got a capacitor for my system, and upgraded my battery to a duralast gold. Now I'm running 2 12' audiobahn subs, 1000w Amp, 2 TVs, Air Ride Suspension, a playstation 2, and a few more goodies off of this with no dimming.

I know there was also the Big 3 mod that would more than likely help you out. Do a search for Big 3. I don't remember exactly where it was located, but it was there.

its very strange. i have hids and they are on their own harness, they still dim even when i press the brakes. i think the alternator has problems on this car

if you get a cap and a new battery you should be fine my headlights still dim and I have a yellowtop and a cap I just have to much electrical crap in my car
