Probably Blew My Amp.
Im running a Kicker ZR series amp to 2 Infinity Reference Series speakers up front. I went to turn up my tunes when I was on my way home from work, and the amp sounded like it just turned on and off repeatedly and then went off. I got home and realized that a fuse had blown somehow, so I replaced it. I hooked up the amp and tried to get it going again. This time, everytime it turned on, it would go right into protective mode, and then pause for 5 seconds outside protective mode and go back into it. Anyone know what might be causing this? Should I just invest in a new amp or try something else?
Id check all the connections, sounds like some wires may be touching where they shouldnt. If anything, I would probably take it to an audio shop to tell me that it is blown, but if you werent happy with it before, then maybe this was a good coincidence. Tell me how it works out.

This happened to me a while back. Check the connections on the speakers, and make sure that no part of the speaker wire is touching the metal on the doors. Unbolt the speakers and have someone hold them, then try turning on the car and see if its working.
