is it ok to wire components by tapping into the harness and while using the stock wiring while connecting the speakers with a speaker wiring harness? like this



or should i wire it directly like this



or is it both the same? suggestions please..thanks

it's better to wire it directly with new and bigger wire than stock, but you can do it the other way too, but if you do, make sure you dont connect the 8 speaker wires from your headunit to the car harness, cause you'll be sending the amped signal to the headunit.

what do you mean make sure i dont connect the speaker wires from my headunit to the car harness? the harness is connected to the headunit so do i need to disconnect it?

your using the RCA's to send the signal to the amp, so don't connect the 8 speaker wires (grey, white, purple and green) from the headunit to anything, cause if you do it like in the first pic and use the factory wires to the speakers, it will send the amped signal to back to your headunit. are you powering the 4 speakers with that amp, or just the 2 fronts? if only the 2 fronts, leave the green and purple wires connected and and dont connect the white and grey
