If you recess the bottom of the screen inwards so it's pretty much perpendicular to the ground the glare is greatly reduced, no? I test fitted mine with a flush install like kickercivic and I had glare galore, but when I recessed it in a bit the glare was more than tolerable. I still have glare, but even through it I can see track titles, street names on the GPS, or bewbies on the downloaded pr0n no problem.

before anyone writes a DIY, I think someone should try using this product with a doubledin dash kit.

http://www.digitalww.com/WRX001.htm

Im really curious if it will fit.

^^ it doesnt work .. the double din,,, i tried that, too much glare coz of the position of the screen. mine is now recessed about one half inch. not much glare anymore, furthermore i bought a new touchscreen from www.digitalww.com, that reduce a lot of glare.
after i have enuf money for turbo, i'm thinking of directly tuning from the carputer,,, still a long way to go~
