k20z1 swap done and not starting :-(
Well, before u get confused about the names, i just copied and paste this from k20a.org since i posted the same thing their looking for help, so here u go
k20z1 swap, done and not starting! :-(
well before anything yes i know the k20z1 swap is a difficult one, but "drivetofast" helped me out with the reflashing/and harness, since hes honda certified, but anyways, its cranking but not starting, checked every wire already, put enough ground already, still nothing, i had a magnetic killswitch, and i took it off, and still nothing, so we tried hondata kpro with the jumper harness and still nothing, anyone know what it can possibly be, oh and by the way, its going into an 01 civic, does anyone know someone who has done a z1 swap before? and yes "drivetofast" aka josh went pass the imobalizer part its just not starting, cranking but not starting :-( i think it has to do with the ecu maybe or something i dunno, but does any1 have any help they can give me? so far this swap has tooken about 3-4 months already

yeah, it sounds to me like you are not getting fuel. How did you do the k20a2 ecu with the z1? I am thinking that this was not a simple swap and there needed to be some pins jumpered to get the fuel pump going. turn the key on but don't crank it and listen to hear if you fuel pump is kicking on.
well, i didnt use any a2 ecu, my i met a guy who bypassed the imobalizer, and rewired a harness for me, and reflashed my key, and as for the spark plug, naw its not getting any, but it does crank, i do have power inside my car, it just doesnt start up

So you have no spark on the spark plugs? That would mean its something int your ignition circut, or sometihng on the ecu isnt pin'ed right or set right.. Are you using a k-pro? or just a reflash?

As for the fuel pump it could be, but see if your getting fuel to the fuel rail by taking off the hoes at the fuel rail, and just turning the key to the "Run" possision. *be sure to have something to catch the fuel if it comes out.*
Did you try disabling the emobilizer in the hondata k-pro when you tried it?

if the pump isnt producing pressure, it needs to be replaced.
Have you hooked up a fuel pressure gauge to the car? first see what the pressure is with the key on and while cranking. if there is pressure, make sure there is sufficent volume. I dont know what the spec is, but if you pull the line, there should be an decent amount that comes out. now if there is pressure and what not, doesnt mean the injectors are pulsing when the car cranks. which means the car wont start and you most likely have wiring issues or something isnt hooked up correctly. now if there isnt any pressure then you have a fuel pump issue. either bad pump, bad relay, wiring to the pump, or the ECU isnt grounding the fuel pump relay.
start with the basics. But to me it sounds like the car isnt authorized to start. meaning there is an issue with immobilizer, key, ecu, wiring not correct
