Quick Question!

Ok I just Got some new Rockford Fosgate Component Speakers and When i installed them in the front we had to kinda cut out a hole so they would fit... they Fit flush and everything.. But for some reason when i turn the speakers up they distort and crackle kinda badly.. My Stock Speakers were louder Kinda wondering what the reason is just maybe that the Speakers ain't getting enough power or the wire is too small(stock wire)? Or That i need to hook them up to a amp

They need more power or the plastic on the inside of the door panel is against them. I had to take a knife and cut some of the plastic down inside the door panel grill so they wouldn't hit my speakers.
