Yep... 02 vic with 75k miles.
The car has been slipping ONLY into 3rd for about a year... Pretty surprising actually (didnt think it would last this long).
I was sitting at a light and all of a sudden the entire car started to shake rapidly, so I placed it in park and it kept doing it. I pulled over and noticed the "yellow" light (forgot the name) was on and, the manual states NOT to drive when that lights on.
So, what also sucks is my car is slammed on steelies so, when the flat bed came we got to watch the front bumper drag on the pavement
(or at least that plastic/rubber peice.
Thing I hate the most is a new tranny is around $3,000? (please correct me if im wrong). So, for a car that resales for 10k, sucks that a new part is 1/3 the price
I will most likley fix it and more on to a new car so, expect a nice for sale section!
Well, last but not least i have noticed a lot of people on this forum have posted questions about their automatic tranny slipping. So, IF your cars tranny is slipping now, expect it to break down the road (in due time).

For what its worth.
I JUST ordered my 03 EX (5 speed) tranny for $450.
Cost $163.00 to ship it from Kentucky to Phoenix.
I predict about $300 to install her.
Meh! Iv had two four puck clutches, & she slips like crazy when I take off.
So im palnning ahead!
I dont know I just like to keep you guy informed...
