New car for me!
New car for me!
What's up guys! So i'm thinking of trading in the civic and I cannot decide what the heck I want to get. Trying to figure out if I want a little coop or go with a nice 4 door luxury sedan. So far this is what I've done
I have test drove the following this week.
-2005 S2000 - Nice ride, quick but not to practical since it's very small and no trunk space ($28,100)
-2005 Audi A4 2.0T 6 speed - i loved the car, had sport package and the entire works, great ride great price (best rank for what i test drove so far) those things are pretty damn quick for the most part ($25,777)
-2006 Civic Si - not to impressed, on top of that they are adding an extra 4-5k on top of MSRP - so no way i'm buying over msrp, somewhat quick but I like the above 2 better ($24,000)
2005 350z - sweet ride, love the exhaust - yet another 2 seater - this one had a tiny bit more trunk space then the S2000 and a few bucks cheaper as well ($26,000)
This is what I want to test drive
2006 Lexus IS250 - I have loved this car since I laid eyes on it, 6 speed manual here I come, I think this car would have one of the best reliability factors, get nice luxury and looks as well - my #1 choice so far, but I want to test drive to see how it compares to the rest. ($31,000)
Well thats all I've driven so far and that I have looked at, an STI or EVO would be nice, but it's hard to tell on a used one how they have been driven, I would like to buy new but they are kinda spendy in price. A G35 is on my list if I can find a good deal on one, I love those as well. But from what is listed what would you guys go with if you were looking?

Go to your local Ford dealer and test drive an 06 Mustang GT...It is in the same price range as everything you are looking at. Has good trunk space, okay so the backseat is a little silly, but it has boat loads of power and with a few modifications can have an extra boat load or two to keep you going...And you could get it with a ragtop...

You and I have the same taste so here's my 2 cents:
Civic Si - Ripoff. Car of the year maybe but lets be honest, you're getting out of a Civic for a reason. Ther eis more presige in ANY other car
G35 - Great car but why can Infiniti make a new bodystyle already and update the the gauges that look 10 years old
A4 - Still one of my favorites. The early 2002+ models had boring interiors but the new bodystyle has the car looking pretty damn good. Hell, I still like the OLD bodystyle. The car MAY be a sedan but it looks hot dropped. HOwever, my EX worked there and they came in quite frequently with issues. I can get parts cheap through my buddy Wade. Come on man, don't kid yourself. Its an expensive VW.
IS250- Popular car for a reason. Stylish. Interior is sharp. I good purchase if you can foot the bill
S2000 - Been down that road. If you want a 2 seater, don't make it your primary vehicle.
350Z - I hate the way this car looks. Sorry but those Bob the Builder triangle taillights are ghey.
Mustang - Yuck. Less reliabilty. Less reliabilty. Less presitige. Sorry but my opinion.

I love the IS 350, that is one hot car. But on a cheaper note and the same body style, I love the new camry. I havent looked into many of the differences but if you just like the body check out the Camry and save yourself some money. I even saw a blue one this morning will all led taillights.
P.S. I wouldnt buy a IS 250. Thats like when I bought my civic and got the lx instead of the ex. I regretted it every day.

Well thanks for the replies! I never did go with the Audi, I test drove it and the thing flew pretty damn good. I was sure impressed!
I'm not a fan of the mustangs, so I'll pass on that, I did drive an 06 mustang and it was to big and bulky for me, I am short and could hardly see over the hood scoop.
The lexus is still at the top of my list, the IS350 is one badass machine with 300+hp, but I can't afford it for 1 and it only comes automatic for 2. I'm a fan of manual transmission and will keep it that way, I just drove by the Lexus of Chandler and they got a nice 06 IS250 6 speed in silver with black leather interior chilling there waiting for me to drive it away! I really really like that car, granted its 100hp less, but i'm saving 7-10k and i get the fun of a manual. I'll keep you posted on my decision.
