I'm selling my 2 JL 10W0 in a JL HO box powered by an MTX Road Thunder RT251D mono amp. It really sounds great and is loud enough to make me sick, but I'm looking for a more quality system.

from some guy, and want to know if anyone has heard this type of setup and if so, how it sounds. Since I've already committed to buy it, all I can do is put it back up for auction if it's no good.

What I really wanted to have is a sealed enclosure. Do you think it's a good idea to pull the sub out and put it in a sealed box? I just want some of my trunk space back but I'm not ready to get rid of the boom.

I have it in my car. JL 10W7, 500.1, but with a ported box. It sounds amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to throw that in my car for $600.
