Need help with HOOD problem
The hood latch on my car failed on the freeway at 70 mph. So I need a new hood (and windshield, but that's a different story).
I'm looking on getting a used CF hood, with hood pins. What all do I need to be able to keep the hood down without using the hood latch (which I am going to get fixed, but not yet)? I need to get this car back up and running.
Do I need anything to install the hood pins? Will the hood pins be enough to keep the hood down?
This is the cheapest and quickest fix right now, for the hood. I want to get this car up and running again. Please give me some tips... thanks!

If you can get the hood, i can guide you through a hood pin install. youll have to drill the hood with a drill and youll need a dremel also. its a bitch, but if you are careful, it will come out great.

depends on where they are. on the stock radiator support, there are two rubber stoppers where I mounted the shafts so no drilling. hopefully, they are there.
