PROBLEMS, emanage not adjusting injector duty cycle. please look.

fuel not being added at all.
Please read every bit and consider any problem, i appreciate your help.
ok, so i did the emanage install, set the rotary to 4-8-c, then the jumpers to whats recommended in the emanage install DIY on here.
the injectors are rsx-s, i did the injector size change on emanage and it works, car runs fine.
the tuner starts tuning the car today, and he says he starts adding fuel but nothing happens, he put it to 100% duty cycle on almost the whole map and no change really at all. wether under boost or not. any suggestions of what to check? or what may be the problem?
also when he adjusted the ignition, just 1 degree advanced at idle the car started running rough and went from steady 850 to a searching idle from about 600-1300. so he took back that degree and it was fine again. any ideas?

im open to any and all suggestions of what to do, what to look at.

do i have to turn those yellow things on the side? i thought that was just for if you arent tuning it with software.

ive got rsx-s injectors as only fuel upgrade. and as for engine mods, long list short, ive got stage 2 turbo cam and t25 tsi kit.

Try 4 8 E?
seems to be hit or miss on which one works.

would that not allow it to adjust fuel trim? i mean the emange is doing the injector correction, just having problems with the duty cycle adjustment.

also, while changine maps on the computer, while im driving around. it sends the new map to emanage once i change a blcok of info right? or do i have to hit "export to main unit" every time???

once its linked, it should be making adjustments as they're entered and you move to the next box.

yeah it should but some dont do it. like mine, I have to "import from main unit" make my changes, then "export to main unit". it wont change unless i do it that way each time. I don't know why its like that, maybe software/hardware glitch but thats how I have to do it. Somewhere it says it can damage the emanage but for 6 months, it has worked perfectly. Try that and see if that works.

rotary setting shouldnt affect fuel adjustment, its only for vtec engagment.

yes obviously i have the injector harness, and its along with ignition and boost harness connected to greddy boost sensor.
now, any suggestion?
ill try to email my guy and see if he thinks the export/import thing is an issue, but when he adjusted ignition that wasnt an issue.

oh, forgot to say, he also tried to change it through the airflow map and he said he wasnt gettin anything then either.

check injector connections? this is why i opted for the pnp harness. what is your interaction light doing when you adjust?

dunno, emanage is under pass. seat, we were street tuning (driving around)

bump for urgency.
the interaction light is just flashing while the cars on. i didnt see any codes from the emanage. the injector connections must be ok, because its doing the injector size correction fine.

04_CIVIC_HFP is an unknown quantity at this point
Did you change it to 4-8-E. That was one of my problems I had with my e-manage.

greddy told me originally 4-8-c or d, i read on here the same. i guess i can try putting it to 4-8-e but all ive heard people trying these diff settings for is vtec, so as i understand the last rotary setting wouldnt affect the ability to tune.
i need which ever one works for an ex head on an lx car.

lol, yea you helped. i put it to 4-8-c like you said, but you confused me with the jumpers.

You have to use 4-8-c. This works for my car (same setup as you), but some will say that this doenst engage vtec, As long as you change the vtec output jumper (JP3) to 2-3, it will engage. But DO NOT touch JP4, because the emanage will then look for a vtec signal from the ECU, which you dont have and it will throw an error.

Seems like the guys with the EX ecu are running 4-8-e, my car wouldnt even start with that setting, Let me know how it goes.
break down of the jumpers **at bottom**

http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/EmanageFAQ.txt

Jumper 4 needs to be 2-3

yet if i remember right, jumper 4 is only 1-2 theres no third pin.

Are you sure they are tuning on the correct map? Make sure they arent messing with the Sub-injector map......

Because neither the airflow adjustment map nor the additional injection map read in duty cycle. Only the sub-injector map reads duty cycle (and that is for adding secondary injectors). And modifying the sub injector map when you have no sub injectors will do absolutely nothing.

It sounds like nothing but incompetence on the tuners part to me.

wow, i didnt think of that turboengnr. thankfully he used my laptop to try tuning it so today i will go take a look at the maps and check it out. although he was saying duty cycle so its possible it was just what hes used to saying. i dunno. but im going to def. check that out.

ok wasnt maps. found problem.
due to the fact that i was wiring my ebc, tt, emanage at the same time, and the way the DIY is written, i overlooked a certain wire. its the pin number 5 on the main connector. what is it? its the injector ground. so ill go connect that and call my tuner to try again 2moro. think this was the problem anyone?
