Possible to use 2 different types of springs on same car?
Possible to use 2 different types of springs on same car?
I feel like my rear end is dropped the perfect amount... no gap, just a tiny tiny bit of tuck. The front, however is about 2 fingers. I am on neuspeed sport and Tokico HP. So, can I just get some springs with a lower drop, but only for the front? I can't think of any reason why this would cause a problem.

yes its very possible to do that such as running the tokico HP struts with eaibach proline springs in the back and sportlines in the front to eliminate the sage factor with a heavy system or something

Yeah its possible. I have Tein H Tech's in the rear and Tein S Tech's in the front. My reason why is becuase of two things body kit and system. Haven't had any problem at all. I don't have pics now but soon.

oh thats your car!? Ive checked it out a few times, it does look nice.
on the last pic in the album it looks like the difference in height is pretty drastic? is there really a big difference or is it just the angle of the pic - seeing as the other pics don't look as drastic.
(by difference in ride height..i mean like a stock neon...ya know how its way higher in the back than it is in the front? also like some guys do to old school mustangs and muscle cars, having the nose way down and the back high up)

wow that looks sweet. thanks for posting those pics!
1 more question...how'd you get those springs? did you buy a whole set of prokits and then a whole set of sportlines? or can you get them separate somewhere?
oh...and are those tires 35 or 40s??

FYI, ground controls or coilovers are better suited to perfecting drops than mix-matching springs with different rates. Lowering spring kits are designed to work as a 4 piece unit, and swapping springs can make for a car that is unpredictable. But then again, if you are going for teh look and just cruising, it doesn't matter.
