Koni yellow's + GC

So i'm planning to order the Ground Control Coilovers and the koni yellow's from truehonda.com, and I was wondering for the 2003 honda civic ex coupe's, are they really or 55mm? sorry if this was a dumb question, but i tried searching and i came up with answers sayin its 50 and some sayin its 55.

01's and some 02's have 50mm struts. every thing else uses 55mm.

Are those koni yellows on truehonda.com $152 per side? or for the pair? Also, can I put Ground Control Coilovers on my 03 w/ stock struts?

so for 2003's it should be 55mm right?

civec, i'm not sure but you should be able to use your ground controls on the stock struts.

civex03, i believe the price at truehonda is per strut, meaning you'll need to put 4 in your "cart" to get a whole complete set.
as for ground controls, theirs 2 models of ground control coilovers for the 2001+ civic. one thats meant to be paired up with koni yellows (or other aftermarket strtus) and one set thats meant to go with the stock shocks. so i think its a good time to think if you want to buy struts or not when placing an order on GC's.

when i talked to edward at truehonda, he believed (not 100% entirely true) that the 01 civics used the 50mm while the 02's had a mixture between the both and the 03-05 were more likely to be 55mm. i would call [truehonda] and talk to them about that one to verify. i'd only say 55mm because im an 03 civic ex owner and thats what size i needed. if it helps, i bought my car on september 03'

nooooooooooooooooooooo don't do it. I had nothing but trouble with the koni rear perches goin out all the time on me. If you're planning on carrying passangers look for some different struts mane. D-Specs are good

I've had konis on the car for lil over two years now, and I havent had a single problem with any thing. this is with it being my daily driver, my autocross car AND my open track car. so its seen alot of abuse.

ok i know this is answered a million times but wont the stock struts life decrease if u put aftermarket spring/coils on it?

yeah your shocks will decrease in duration because your car is lowered, and the stock struts aren't meant to perform like that i guess. i can't explain it, but yeah, the lower you go the less life your shocks has.
