Ingalls rear vs. shimming

I was at this palce today looking for tires and asked how much to install my camber kit. He said you don't need a kit for the rear, you just need to shim it. Is this true or only for prev gen civics?

Can "shim" the fronts about .5 degrees.. but the rears you need new control arms.

Cheers

Sad to say, but there are no shims you can install on the rear to correct the camber.

You can either go with the Eibach or the Ingalls setup, both will work awesome. ONE word of caution. If you have an EX with ABS, you are much better off going with the Ingalls. The ABS sensor wire connects to the upper link, and on the Ingalls it is a much better design. The Eibach, you have to remove the sensor wire from the camber turnbuckle everytime you adjust it. Worse, sometimes you cannot get it to align back with the holes. This would be no issue if you don't have the ABS, but I learned the hard way. Tirerack is taking it back for full credit, but I am out the labor of aligning the whole car again.

Check out MMRUSA, they gave me an excellent price on the kit.

You could also buy Specialty Product rear camber correction kit. It has a hole where you could screw in you ABS sensor
