Red face is my koni yellow blown?

a little background on the car:
skunk2 coilovers lowered halfway on the perch, koni yellows (installed by big-o-tires shop), no alignment done. *rode like this for 6 months without issues until few days ago*

i had the shop install my koni yellows about a good 6 months now with no problems after the install. last week, i started to hear a "loose" feeling noise whenever my front driver side suspension drives over a dip/bump/etc. it has this "sloppy loose" feeling like my wheel is gonna fall off when i exit the off ramp of the highway . now im afriad to take hard turns and drive very very carefully (i know its best to take another vehicle but its the only one i have).

i checked under the hood and everything seemed fine, but i never got the chance to jack up the front and check for shock oil leaks. however, whenever i compress the driver front side down with my hands, it makes a air "squishy" hiss noise when it uncompresses...like its sucking in air. for the passenger side, it doesnt make this noise though.

will koni warranty this for me? i have reciepts from big-o that installed these for me and i purchased thru truehonda and hes an authorized dealer. theirs no way i can send in my blown strut and wait few weeks because i work everyday and goto school everyday as well. how would i go about this as for warranty?

any idea fellas?

Diablo is an unknown quantity at this point
As long as you dont tell them you have the car lowered they should exchange them. check for oil around the adjustment **** thats were mine keep leaking from. also make sure the bolt that hold the koni struts to the housing (bottom of strut) didnt come loose.

This was my first thought as well. Check the retaining nut, make sure its still there, but if you say its sucking air, I'd try covering the top of the strut (by the adjuster ****) with water and pushing on it... if its leaking, it'll bubble. As far as the warranty, call Koni. They're pretty good on the phone.

i jacked up the front and checked for any loose bolt and found nothing. however, i grabbed the housing and jerked it around and heard a "loose" noise. it was either just the coilover moving around the strut pole or something i cannot see at the time.

when i had the front jacked up, i compressed both sides of the struts by pushing it up and releasing it...both uncompressed evenly (it didnt just drop to the bottom end like a falling object, but actually went down slowly sounding like the strut was doing its job)

i will be going back to big-o or another shop to get this looked at, but im open for any more suggestions or possiblities.

Had both the top and bottom bolts come loose on me once (not at the same time) makes an awful racket...

BTW, if the car is off the ground then it can appear that the bottom bolt is tight (remember the sring it pushing down on the strut housing).. So put the car back on the ground and check it there.

Exclamation

Here's a dumb noob question..

I think my koni yellow rear shocks came from the factory blown.. the rod moves freely and stays in whatever position I leave it in - no rebound. The fronts rebound, but both the rears don't.. are they not supposed to?? What's going on here?
