theres a million of threads for these, rear sway bar i hear rsx one is good and cheap(scrap yard for like 30 bux). its always good to get new end links cause they will break with a thicker sway bar on them. I have the neuspeed strut bar and love it it doesnt hit my aem intake and i have no worries with it. I dont know if you need a rear strut bar, should make much of a difference unless u are in autox(ask boilermaker, zzyzx, or any other autox er). front i did progress 27mm and progress 22mm rear and my ride feels better on turns on street use if it was autox i know i would get understeer or oversteer)forgot which is which). And for tein s techs i hear they sag in the rear but you will need shocks too if ur doin the rest of ur suspension why skip out on them. Prob. say koni on them if u want tein.

i <3 you zzyzx. im looking for a street set-up. so like daily driving, with agressive turns sometimes. just in case i need to out handling someone else.
I know a lot of guys say its useless but I love my x-brace. I have front upper strut bar(nuspd), x-brace(nuspd), Rsx sway(19mm) with the progress adap kit, and BF goodrich traction ta/t on stock 14's. I love the way it handles now. I know it can be a lot better but those few things make it like a whole new car as far as the way it handles. It only cost me about 650 with the tires(big-o) and everything else off the fs forum and I would say its well worth it.

Ok, Start with the 19mm rear and see how it handles. This is important.. IGNORE BODY ROLL.. look at how the car is actually handling, does it understeer? does it oversteer when and where. this will tell you what you need to tune next.

btw is 40 shipped for a rsx rear sway good? i think its good. im not sure.
is there a difference between the type s and the base model?
40 dollar is good. rsx base and rsx-s rear sway bars were the same(19mm) until 2004(if i remember correctly) after that the rsx-s went up to 21mm. The 19mm is the best for daily driving.

Strut bars do a completly different job then anti-roll bars... and Strut bars have 0 effect on how much or how little body roll your car has.
I say Ignore it because as a tuner, you should not be tuning to get ride of body roll specifically. you should be tuning to get the cars oversteer/understeer balance to your likeing. If by doing that you reduce the amount of body roll, so be it. but you shouldnt be tuning just to get rid of body roll. See, as far as handling is concerned Body roll really only does two things. 1. it annoys the driver, and 2 it causes a bit of camber loss. So as long as the amount of body roll isnt excessive enough to cause too much camber loss then it pretty much should be ignored.
Case in point, heres a well handling car thats got body roll...

ok. so i should ignore the fact that my one of my 4 wheels jumps off the road? i mean im not being sarcastic or anything. im really curious
but i get your point. understeer bothers me more than anything. when i drop my foot on the accelerator i want it to be percise turning.

FWD cars lift the inside rear tire quite regularly.. its not a big deal. (Increasing the effectiveness of the rear bar will acutally cause more of it.)
If you dont like understeer, then your definitly not going to like having a larger front anti-roll bar...
also, what does your alignment look like?
The rsx 19mm really helped the rear end rotate on the track compare to OEM 13mm, yet safe enough from getting into "snap" situtations.
As for understeer, of course there is some, but ur better off this way then doing a 360 in the middle of a turn at 70mph ..
That being said, a good set of tires is the greatest modification you can do compare to some fansy strut bar, brace, etc

Fine doesnt tell me any thing... and your alignment plays a very big roll in how the car handles...
Little Light reading on alignments and how they influence handling

good thread
I'm glad it didn't get locked in the begining.zzyxz, i don't think i will go spend 60 bucks to get an alignment thats not needed. but i will be needing one in a month or two when i get them s techs. ill read that alignment sight you posted
EDIT: read. wow. ok. so maybe i should get a camber kit to help the hell out of my car? i didn't realize it would make THAT much of a differnce. anyway, are my stock camber settings not enough? i thought it was just for tire wear. dayam. feels good to get schooled
ok so more qs
1. how do i adjust my camber on my own? should i even try it?
2. should i wait to get them s techs or get an alignment now and then again after?
3. should i grab a camber kit? is it worth it?
4. is that 22mm sway too much?
