Koni install problems?
I just got a set of koni struts/shocks for my g/f's 01 civic ex. I bought the 50mm from a guy on here. I've looked through the diy on here and it looks like it will be a really easy job, but then when i look at the front struts, they do not have the spring perch assembly on the bottom of the strut like in this pic:

My question is, is the strut part of the spring perch assembly, or do i just take the strut out of the assembly and replace it with the koni strut? I've already done a search on this and haven't found anything.

This is exactly what happens when you don't do your research ahead of time.
Konis are inserts. You have to gut the stock struts, then the Konis bolt into the housings.
