Heres the deal....I just bought my fogs for my 05 and the 3m yellow tint so I can tint them. Heres my question. Ive heard that 3000k is the yellow for HIDs, and I heard it looks good from far away, but up close it isnt that pretty. Anyways, if I use the yellow tint, with some 4300k HIDs, will it still look yellow? or will the light overpower the tint. Also, do the yellow HIDs look good? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

philips 85122yx are yellow, but costly. you could go the cheaper route and buy 85122 with a yellow capsule from a lexus is300 fog lights and retro that into your foglights. you could go even cheaper and just get yellow halogen lights that fit your foglights and use the yellow 3m tint for extra protection.

4100k HIDs in the fog are useless.

well....i already have the yellow tint on order. And I have 8k HIDs for my headlights...and I want my fogs to be bright as ****, and I dont think the halogens will be bright enough for me. lol

i was just wondering....since im using the 3M tint....if i put regular HIDs in, would they be yellow still, or would the white overpower it?

yo robbie how much tint will you have left?...cuz i just got my 04-05 fogs in and i wanna just tint them yellow with a nokya bulb
