Places that do custom intercoolers?
Looking for a place someone can recommend. Price matters, but I don't want a piece of junk. I don't necessarily care about it having some name brand core as much as I care that it doesn't leak and its well made. If anyone's had one made and would send someone else there.... then gimme a website or number.
Thanks
Thanks

Basicaly: huge intercooler for mid boost is = ironing board type spoler = big time rice.
I can do one if you have drawing/specs. Perfect welding. I should have a link to my email on my site. www.JDMFabtech.com

Ohhhh sidewinder turbo. Nice.
I need to get into the car and give you some dimensions, but I can definitely give you engineering/plan drawings of dimensions and shapes.
Gearbox.... I'm working on a small one, that fits in in the engine bay.

i can build you a nice air-water intercooler. I built one for my car a long time ago. It worked awesome. I used ethylene glycol and added some dry ice. Talk about a power increase......
Plus, it eliminates a lot of piping, and fits inside the engine bay.
If you use a large enough heat exchanger out front and have a large capacity reservoir, you wouldnt have to worry about heat soak.
after driving from here to bakersfield (about 90 miles), the water temp was slightly above ambient. I had a pretty large heat exchanger, about the size of 2 of the carquest tranny coolers.

That car never made over 200whp just on 5.5 psi. The reason it makes so much power is because the whole fuel system is based on alcohol injection only. This would create so much heat it isn't even funny.
My car is running that header without alchy injection. I made 212 hp with a crower cam and aem ems. I talked to the kid who owned that car. I think on 6 pounds with alchy he made around 185ish, which isnt horrible. That kit as a whole sucked, I reworked a lot of stuff to get it to do what I needed. The header works really well for as goofy as it looks. Sounds so mean. Especially now with just an open DP. Its funny the car only gained like 2 hp from taking of my crappy exhaust. I gotta get another one before spring. Sorry to get off topic.
But anyways, I'll hook you up on a good price for that cooler. PM me if you want, you wont regret it.
