your stock struts will last you longer than when u drop it 2.5-3 inches...a 1.5 inch drop is the lowest drop without needing a camber kit and shocks blowing out in months

even with a 1.5 drop, your going to have negative camber. I would get a camber kit. 1.5 is ok, its just gonna seem bouncy as hell compared to stock height. I've been on stock struts for at least 10k and they seem ok, just bouncy.

if theres one thing i would change, it would be "do it right the first time"
don't worry about dropping your car now. just save up for a nice set up.
ive been dropped at least 3in. on dropzone sleeved coilovers since january and miraculously my struts arent blown.
obviously sleeved coilovers are for us people on a budget but once you pop the fun dont stop and you're gonna want more out of it anyway, so just save to do it right the first time

do it right the first time. From searching you should have found that you're going to end up having to do it twice if you don't do it all at once. So just get the Konis with em the first time around, take the car apart once.
