if you know how to cut and weld steel, it will save you a ton of money.

if you cant, just get a dezod kit. It comes with instructions.

Generally kits are cheaper b/c companies use cheaper parts to keep the cost of the kit down.

Most ppl that piece kits together tend to buy quality parts and b4 you know it you got alot of money invested in it.

But it can be done cheaper if you spend a LOT of time searching for good deals on seperate parts of the kit. And it also will save you some cash if you can do all the fabrication yourself

lovinthevtec is an unknown quantity at this point
Cheaper- Buy a Kit

Knowlage- Build a kit

I built a kit for my car, expensive as hell but i got everything that I wanted for the setup, and extensive knowlage of every part of my kit due to vast amounts of time researching part by part, piece by piece

kits arent cheaper because they use low quality parts. They are cheaper due to the fact that they have the ability to buy in bulk. And most have suppliers that they have dealt with for a long time.

Your best friends in business are your suppliers.

So from what i'm understanding, it is Cheaper to buy a kit, but it can be even CHEAPER to buy it piece by piece, the only thing is searching, do u guys know how much would a decent, or the cheapest Dezod kit would cost, like a T3/t4 cuz i heard on our cars that their is no point in turbo unless its a t3t4, And for all u BOOST HEADS out their, can u really do me a favor, and tell me peice by peice of a LIST i would need incase i decide to buy it seperate, thanks i would really appriciate that....lets keep the replys coming!

As far as what turbo is ideal, opinions varry. Sofar from what ive seen my GT28R has way out dyno'd any t3 t4 auto trans. GT28R is rated for up to 310HP. For example a T3 60 trim is only rated for 250hp, and a T3/T4E Turbo with .58 A/R and 45 Trim Compressor. Good for up to 350HP . And for the list of whats needed to make your own kit....
