AEM CAI - easy install for a novice DIY'er?

First off, I have an '04 EX Coupe. I have seen the post with detailed instructions (with pictures) on how to install the AEM cold air intake. That info is great, there were a few things I wasn't so sure about though. My question is, is that really an easy thing to do overall, and would you recommend it to someone who hasn't dealt with a CAI before?

I was hands on with my last Honda, a '90 CRX Si, and I had installed an intake but it was very easy, basically just took out the existing intake and "resonator" and dropped the new intake into place with just a few screws to tighten.

I noticed that at the end of the instructions, it has something to reprogram the ECU in regards to the increase in air that will go into your engine, but that the ECU will eventually "learn on its own" this increase in air. Do you really have to worry about reprogramming the ECU (I didn't want to deal with that), but how long does it take for the ECU to "learn" and then for you to eventually feel the difference in power that a CAI can give you?

I think an intake is the easiest and best for a DIYer. I did mine in a high rise parking lot, with a Sears 15 dollar tool kit.

The ecu reprograms fairly quickly, you hardly even notice though
