adjusting toe with tie rod end

is this possible? i havent tried it, but i hit a curb and it makes my car pull to the left now. it looks like i can just unscrew the tie rod end to adjust my toe on my left tire. it has to out and positive camber. now i heard that toe and camber work together - you change one, the other changes also. so if i could adjust my toe with that, it seems like it might fix my problem, or atleast help it. im asking for someone to correct me if im wrong.

The tie rod end is where you adjust toe from normally.... but any way, I wouldnt recomend doing toe adjustments on your own, as bad toe settings will eat tires 10X faster then just about any amount of camber.

For the record... Changing camber alters toe, but changing toe doesnt have much effect on camber...

If you hit the curb and you knocked the alignment, you better get it looked at... chances are you bent something.
Anywho, you should NEVER do toe adjustments by eyeball. They sell gauges to do it right. Either that, or take it in for an alignment.

Definitely have it looked at for damage. The lower A-arm is a sacraficial component, and is quite easy to bend/tear in case of a hard impact, with the strut assembly not far behind that.

Eyeballing gets you close. A tape measure and L-square can finish off the rest of the alignment on your driveway.

If you really had to and were broke you can set your own toe. I know most of you guys are young but does anyone know how they did alignments before computers?, lol , well string alot of guys used. Thats right string. make a jig that can hold a string the length of your vehicle without tyin it to your vehicle. String must just come in contact with edges of your rims. well assume your rear tires are pointing straight as they usually are. With your car parked and strings runnin down both sides of your car just touching the middle (from ground to top of wheel) you should see if its out. This technique dont get me wrong its no computer but for the guys out there with no funds lookin to go straight again it works have used it . You wouldnt beleve how close you can get it.
