Gimmick... Think about it for a minute..... How much twisting goes on there? specificaly how would that bar prevent twisting there?
Yeah, I got one of those. It's a piece of junk. The ends that hook up to the bolts on the seat belt don't line up. Ohh and they broke apart when i got it installed. I had to go to the hardware store and jury rid the thing to work. It was a very slight improvement. Don't waste your money on it.

I have the universal one (with the hump in the middle). It DOES do something...mainly distort your frame, LOL. My rear doors take a little bit of effort to close now. I should take mine out but I'm so lazy.

actually yes you can
you have to type in the item number on the summitracing site, otherwise it doesnt show up. i gave the item number to everyone on this site, but i dont think ppl bought it also, someone mentioned something about a c-pillar bar in this thread...quick question for robb, (kinda stupid question) well, i took a c-pillar bar and put it on my b-pillars. it felt like it did something, but it may all be in my head. would something like a "b-pillar bar" have any effects?

probably not the best way of testing this "b-pillar" bar (in fact, its probably not the correct way), but i set the max cornering for my G-tech pro at 0.80 g's (still playing with it). before (without the bar), the lights on the G-tech would not light up. But after i put on the bar, the lights on the G-tech would light up (showing that i reached my max that i put into my G-tech). This was on the same corners, at the same speed, etc.
well, i guess im just wondering if you (robb) think that a "b-pillar" bar would do anything?
