dam well that sucks. im at the point where i do not know who to trust with my car. everyone tells me they know what they are doing and just mess **** up and cant make it work right. so im on a mission to find a good place.

Some turbos will have more shaft play than others. T3 and larger Garretts will usually have some; T25 shouldn't have much at all. Misubishi turbos shouldn't have much, if any, either.
If it's not consuming much oil, then live with it. Otherwise, although it is possible to DIY, it's even easier to screw it up ... and extracting broken parts out of a turbo housing isn't fun.
