We can't solve intermittent problems. There's no "it must be this" to intermittent issues. Thats why its intermittent.
Check and make sure everything is tight, all the bolts, the lock collars the nuts on the tops of the pillowballs.
If they have dust boots, check to make sure they're not rubbing on something, the springs are seated properly and theres no dirt somewhere there shouldn't be dirt. Most people who are willing to drop $2000 on a set of coilovers also have the know how and ability to troubleshoot their own problems.

i got the flex also, and mine squeeks in the front sometimes... mostly when i'm changing it to go stiffer... i think it just need to get used to the setting first and then it would eventually go away...
also, i don't drive over bumps that fast!

Where the hell did you guys get "speed bump" He said BUMP. I presume to be a normal bump in the road. I hit track curbs at 80, thats a bump, but not a speed bump. You can hit a bump as fast as you want as long as the suspension has enough travel and stiffness to take it.
sorry if this is a little off topic guys, but I didn't want to make a new thread for it ... but ...
does the Tein Flex come with upper pillow mounts?? ... I noticed the SS coilovers have an option, but the Flex's don't seem to come with that option. I have an 02 civic ...

I have the flex coilovers and i have a problem when i turn the wheels. At slow speeds when the wheels are turned nearly all the way left or right, a loud popping/clacking noise is generated. I think it is from the steering arms but i'm not sure. I have a few ideas, but i want to see what you guys think first.
to answer the original question the squeking noise you hear is coming from the rear springs. Its the sound of the spring coils touching. Also mine were alot louder until I broke them in. Tein sells a rubber piece u can install to help reduce noise. Someone else had metioned steering noises. Lowering your car is going to make the tie rods to short because of the increased angle they now sit at. Adjustable /longer tie rods will eliminate this. i believe js racing makes them for 7th gen civics. i just cant afford them yet, around $300. Hope this was helpful!
