messed up throttle?

i think i tightened my throttle cable too much. it was the the point that minor pressure on the pedal made the car jump in rpms. i only topped out at 90 something and it was straining in acceleration. i normally get to a 100 with minimal effort but its a lot harder now, should i just loosen it a bit to fix the problem?

I think they question goes without says... DUR. Although I thought there was a seperate cable for idle... I hope you didn't tighten the wrong one... Also... how tight your cable is should have nothing to do with acceleration. Or top speed.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
Just leave the cable along, its not going to do anything.... Honda adjusts it from the factory for a reason

i think it does affect, the throttle is opened too much too soon? i dunno ill tinker around. and also, why would u bother modding ur car if honda's factory does things for a reason. we should all be rolling stock if thats what u mean.

honda put slack in the cable so you don't acidently tap it and go flying into tha car in front of you... We're not old ladys so this doesn't affect us.
