Vacuum hoses?

Hi guys,

When you refer as "check fo vacuum leaks", what lines/hoses do you need to check?
Any specific ones?
Charge pipes?
One's that altered while installing turbo?

all of them. every line in the car.

charge pipes will not create a vaccum leak. But they should be tight anyway.

If you find that a pipe keeps blowing off.....trying using a touch of hairspray.

I checked hoses that I've altered, changed some of them. Got a little better.

Will vacuum leak cause boost spikes?

My Idle is very steady now, rolls at aboy 1000 rpm. Funny, but somestimes after a run it may go upto 1500 RPM's or so and stay there for a while and then drop back to 1000. Proly not vacuum then.
Any ideas?

sometimes resetting the ecu will fix idle problems. I thought I had a vacuum leak but turned out the computer just needed a good reset.

That's what I'm going to do after work. Late eve yesterday I unplugged the battery, so I will hook it today and let it idle for 10 min or so...
My current vac at idle sits at about -20, what I hear is the norm...
So, now I think my vacuum lines OK.

My problem now - is I get waaay to much psi, like at least 10 at about 4000 rpm's.
