Injen SRI vs Injen CAI
ok guys, i already had a look on the forum & found several pros & cons for both of them
I'd like the CAI but it's quite rainy in the UK & won't move back to France for a couple of years so I'm really worried about the whole hydrolock thing plus the fittinb pbm with coz' of the battery
So I thought of the SRI where I wouldn't have any of the above pbm
Anybody could tell me if you go for an Injen SRI (Civic EX 2002 manual) would you still get some kinda gain ?
Is the CAI really louder than the SRI?
Thanks to everybody for the feedback

Yes... the Injen SRI will fit on all model 7thgen Civics. No the CAI is not louder (well from inside the car atleast). My Injen SRI is way louder then the CAI.
I felt a bit of gain but the thing I love most is the sound it makes at WOT

I loved my CAI, you can make it both a SR or CA simply by removing the extention if need be. so 2 options buy the CAI, and save the extention till later, or buy and Air Bypass vavle. Something i did not buy and yes low and behold mr.hydrolock came knocking in my engine.. sept i think he broke down the door. ehh oh well.

wide open throttle. cold air is a bad idea because of sucking in water. Injen doesn't really make much power, I think dyno showed only 1whp or something. Have you looked at K&N typhoon or fipk intakes?

well, i was mainly lookin' at the injen stuff... just for the name lol
basically ill export my car to france when ill move back in 2 years time, the civic em2 was not sold over there so it'll be the real only em2 in france w/ loads of injen, tanabe, buddyclub, tein, kyb, etc... stuff on it
so i ain't really lookin' after the power, moreover it's a pain to get car approved as soon as the hp is changed
i must be the only ricey guy in europe lol
thanks all for ur help, i think ill get for the sri, moreover it sounds easier to put in urself
