Replaced stock struts with Tokico

I was a little unhappy when I first replaced my stock springs with my Neuspeed Sports. I was getting all kinds of strange sqeeks and noises when going over speed bumps. And when driving around it seemed kinda softly sprung. It still feels kinda softly sprung but all the noises are gone. But best of all, the car seems a little more firmly planted. The ride is alot smoother too. I thought stock struts would be fine for a little while, especially because my car only had 29,000 miles on it, but I was wrong. I was hoping the struts would make things better and it did.

The front stock struts were worse than the rear. The rear seamed fine, but the front were easily pushed down and didn't come back up very well. I didn't replace them initially because I didn't want to spend $350 if I didn't have to.

So if you plan on stock struts when going lower think of my story. You might as well do it all at once. Some said it would be alright and some said change them. I thought I'd be O.K., because I drive slow, even though I read different.

You need to change your signature line now - not stock anymore!

Same here. My front passenger side leaked at 356xx right before the warranty ended and Honda replaced it for me. Now at 69xxx the same one started leaking. SUCKs that honda only warranty the replace shock for 1year or 12000 miles.
