1.3 inch drop... ideal shocks?

I just put some sweeeet rims on my civic, but 17's on stock suspension makes it look like it's riding in the clouds. I want to do a moderate drop... 1.3" in front and 1.4" in back using the H&R Sport Springs. I have heard that when you lower the suspension but use the oem shocks, that they crap out pretty quickly (understandable)... What's a low-cost reliable replacement shock that would be a good medley for these springs?
