i dont see why not. there's only a handfull of people on this site that have d-specs so cant really say. mine are going on later today with neuspeed sports. i would think since d-specs are just like replicas of our stock shocks/struts + dampening adustability it should be fine. you'd just have to confirm with GC what part number you need cuz they got 3 part numbers + specific ones for koni. probably 01-02 since thats what d-specs are for, but i'm putting them on my 03.

when you order them did u specify what year your car was? i know tockico has made the adjusments for 03+ you just have to tell them wich year your car is. and yes the gc's will be fine with the d-specs. let us know how it rides with them on. did u get the stock gc spring rates?

i'm going to assume that the d-specs are 14mm and need to be drilled out for 03+ users to 16mm, unless tokico fixed this problem by now (with a conversion sleeve). might want to call them up to be sure.

but if the stut of the Dspec is made for 01-02, then wouldent it make sence to get GCs for 01-02?
Does it even matter?? Since im swaping the whole strut out?

To confirm- YES you do need to drill out several holes on the Tokicos for the 03 and up Civics. I had to take mine into a local machine shop and pay them 40 dollars to drill out larger holes for me.

Even if you are getting the 01-02 GCs, you need to get the correct one specific for your car. 01 and 02s have different uppermounts. So what you need to know is the D-Spec shocks outer diameter, what uppermounts your car has(ball bearing or not) and the crash bolt size to prepare for drilling(14 or 16mm). Call GCs and provide them with the first 2 info. That should be sufficient for them to know what you need.
