Any opinions on the Supreme Court ruling yesterday?

Just wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on the supreme court ruling yesterday ... If you live under a rock, and have no idea what happened, here's a link ...

I personally think its a good idea, will force the Medicare in this country to be improved ... I have to think that a 2 teir system is the next logical step

i don't really agree too much with that ruling...there is a shortage of docs and nurses anyways so i don't see how these private companies are goin to be able to pay more to get doctors/nurses/technicians to come and work for them as well as buying high priced equipment such as CT and MRI scanners....all in all the problem in Canada pertaining to wait times is just a bunch of ****....the people that are waiting in ER areas all deserve to wait...sitting in a waiting room for an extra 4 hours because you have a sore leg means you should actually be goin home and walking it off...triage nurses assess what is more criticall than others..and people with serious stuff go right into the treatment areas right away....and if your in there with a small laceration you should be goin to a urgent care facility other than an emergency department....

I agree, but I think the fact that private care may be an option, it will hopefully make the government increase spending in health care ... plus, think of what Benefit insurers will be able to offer now ...

True, but if you have benefits through work, this may be something they can offer as supplemental insurance ... and it will hopefully stop the good doctors from going to the US, if they see they can make some more income treating private patients willing to pay
