Gen7 takes another show

Gen7 takes another show
Hey everyone!!!
I just wanted to report some good news... My car won first place in the Canadian Auto Sound League (CASL) competition today
There were different classes, I was in Rookie cuz I was just running one 12 in a ported box with one amp
My system hit 141 SPL last night but for some reason only hit 140 today at the show. Still, I took first in the rookie class. The judges and my bro were saying it was likely the air today
My brother took my car cuz i was unable to attend the show, and there were no trophies (at least not for rookie class) but they gave a certificate in a frame, but it says his name. Dah well, as long as we won, im happy!
Im just glad we won, gen7 takes another one. Cant believe Im the one saying that, and actually referring to my own accomplishment!

Well they just took down the names of the ppl there so when you win, they award you your certificate, they dont stop and say "OK You won, can we have your name for the certificate?" so i kinda expected it to say his name if we won. Still, thank you for reminding me lol
The way i see it, its better to win and have it say your brothers name then to lose and get nothing :P

I know this might seem like a silly question, but did you let anyone else know of the competition to see if others wanted in or just attended as you learnt last minute? I ask mainly out of curiousity and boredom

Actually I found out quite last minute
This is how it went down... I found out yesterday, my brother and I set things up perfectly, then I went over to a friends house who helped me install some lights. Then I had to meet another buddy of mine, came home and went straight out to dinner with family and got home quite late... So as you can see, I found out last minute and had no time to let others know. Had I known, you can be sure I woulda posted up a msg here
