cant remove bolts for manifold

cant remove bolts for manifold

i cant remove the stock bolt, right in the center, its stripped... from the headers where the mani will be placed as we are in the process of installing my turbo. did anyone else have this problem and how did u take them off?

u drill it out... start with a small bit

if it is stripped, it still should come out. You will then have to buy a tap and re-thread the hole.

if you can't get it out, you will have to buy a reversed drill bit to drill it out

are talking about the one on the bottom row in the direct center of mani? or a bolt on the top row? if its the top row, u'll have to drill it out. if its the bottom row, u'll have to get another stud to put in there and good luck getting the old one out.
