52 in a 35..any ideas??

Hey guys...

Got a ticket today 52 in a 35. Cop was nice and all and he was very courteous. My question to you all is, the people that live in Tennessee, if this is my first offence that gets on my record, will insurance increase?? I have heard that you get a freebie by the insurance company. I also went to traffic school once and I do not feel like losing my lisence for 3 months due in part to my full time job. What is everyones ideas of what I should do???

And how would you recommend fighting it? In Brentwood, you automatically get your lisence taken away for 2nd offense. If I go to court, it will 65 bucks plus the ticket cost. If I dont go to court I can simply pay the 115. I talked to my insurance agent and he said since this will be my first ticket on my record, that insurance will not go up.

I got a 80 in a 50 recently and it was $145. Any higher and I would have had to report to court.
