Okay Guys, I need a little
I was having issues with this before and finally I picked up a code reader when it got a little TOO serious and the tranny stopped locking into gear.
I have an auto, and i was always getting a P0122 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Low Input and now when the tranny stopped locking it, Im getting a P0730 Incorrect Gear Ratio.

Anyone have any idea what is happening here ?!? I cant drive the car, once it tries to go into 2nd gear it unlocks and never locks back up.

I think you might need a new throttle body just by the sounds of it. When my engine light came on a long time ago, my car wouldnt shift out of first gear, I could drive it, but only in first. Ended up needing a new throttle body. Sounds like from that code you may need one. When I get home tonight I can go threw my manual and help you out with it.

What you need to do though is check on the TP sensor code and after that, see if the 0730 still is there. It is probably coming on because of the other code. Most likely you will need a new TB though just by the symptoms.

I think I found the problem. Car is in the shop right now getting the whole tranny taken apart.
