How low can I go with KYB GR-2's?
Hey, I was wanting to lower my 02 Civic coupe and was thinking about getting KYB GR-2. How low can I go and not have to worry about my struts blowing up? What's a safe drop, 1 to 2 inches? Any feedback will be great.

They're designed as OEM replacements. You're supposed to use them with stock springs. They're probably not going to hold much of a drop, I'm sure they're stronger than honda crappers, but no damper designed to work at stock height is going to appreciate the extra load of lowering springs.

for the first 2 weeks after installation, the ride was much smoother and better than stock shocks, but it suddenly became rather stiff, just after carrying 4 adults and 3 big suitcases.. might be coincidental, might be mental.. anyone knows?
