front grilles?

i was wondering if anyone has bought a front grille off of ebay. i got a 50 dollar ebay gift certificate that i've never used last x-mas and i just found it and i need to use it before the year is up. don't really care if it's the type-r style or the rs style grille. i was just wondering if anyone has gotten one off of ebay and if someone had tell could tell me who to buy it from and how easy it was to install.

just pick someone with a good feedback rating that isint raping you too much on shipping..

to install it you just remove yer front bumper, unscrew the old grille and put the new one in... should take you about an hour.. you need a screwdriver and a 10mm wrench

theirs a DIY for front bumper removal in the lighting forum

u don't need to take your bumper out, just take your stock grill out and put the new one but it takes a little bit of work though...

I just bought one for my car on ebay. cheapest i could get it was $35. the grille itself is only $15...you do the math. The seller was Twelve Racing and they had some questionable feedback, i took my chances and i can vouch for them. the grill got here in about a week.

its waaaaaay easyer to just take yer bumper off than it is to take it half off, work on it upside down and hope you dont bend and break everything on the bottom of the bumper...

whole bumpers held on by what... friction, 2 screws and like 9 clips

^^^^ agree

it is a lot easier to just take bumper off than to have it half off

i have taken my bumper off so many times that i can now take it off in about 30 seconds

RS grills suck. Thats why I switch to type r one. THe rs ones will break easily. and especially if you plan on getting the carbon fiber rs. DONT!!! its 100% fake carbon fiber and will not match with any carbon fiber you have unless its fake like the rs

heres the rs carbob fiber (fake) grille. Its cheap plastic that will chip off. Im selling it back on ebay after one day of use. I put stock one back on and waiting for the type r grille. Any grilles that you buy will supposidely match the color if you get black grille on a black car. It will look alike, but the color wont match factory paint specifications. So remember to paint it if you want it to completely match the car.
DONT BUY THE CARBON FIBER RS GRILLE. ITS A WASTE OF 40$
