The mileage being correct is the main thing - most of the sales people probably would not be smart enough to know the gauge cluster came from an 03 model.

i know a friend that had an 01 civic ex and before the lease was out he switched heads with some other guy i dunno how hard was that to do. the thing is up unitl now 6 months after the dealer hasnt said anything

mileage would still read the same i am assuming... so i see no big deal... they might not like the big aluminum wing or neon shtuff if he is into that sorta thing..

Sale your car to a private party. You will almost always get more. The dealership won't say anything about the gauge cluster granted you have not disabled any functionality. As someone mentioned earlier "they likely won't notice anyway".

no big aluminum wing for me, im buying the sleek OEM wing. I havent bought the gauge cluster yet, but eventually I will.im just asking this in case i decide to sell before going to college in the fall
