Tein Type Flex vs. JIC FLT-A2
I can't decide which coilovers to go for the SI. I don't know anyone who's got either of these on there car. I do like the EDFC on the tein units but the inverted strut on the JIC is cool. Any suggestions?

Is this for the "Bling" factor, or are you trying to set the car up for something? (Open track/autocross)
any way, if it is for Bling... Get which ever one you think will impress people the most. Which is probably the JIC's.
If your trying to build the car up for something, you really should be looking at Spring rates and damper rates to see which one suits your application the best. (Rather then being impressed by an Inverted Shock....) Also, if this is just for the street, you may find that both have spring rates that arn't exactly Girl/date friendly...

Personally unless you're planning to hunt cones on the weekends, I think both those systems are a bit overkill. If you just wanna slam on the street, then Omni Power is up and coming and they've had good reviews on Honda-Tech...B+G, D2, Tein Basic or even SS are all a little more affordable, and more than enough for street applications.

The inverted thing is a pain in the ***... I cant reach the **** without laying under the car. They're fine for the track and autocross, which I use them for, but they aren't exactly hot date friendly. The spring rates are goofy, plan on changing them. Honestly 1/2 the reason I bought them was for the camber plates... thats really the big plus.

LOL!!! It is for the girls with the big ol' *******. No, its really for SCCA Solo on the weekends. But the car is a daily driver which makes me lean more towards the Tein Type Flex because of the EDFC.
Sometimes, I can see right through myself ...

I know I'm not going to need to adjust the dampening all that much, but I still went with the Tein SS. I'm thinking of maybe starting to do some AutoX next season and would like the suspension to compliment that if I do decide to start.

I live in Arizona where there are a lot of VERY FUN mountain roads to drive on. I think that I would use the EDFC quite often. It would be handy to cruz to the location I want to go to riding on a softer setting. Then once I hit my spots, with a push of a botton, firm it up.

If you plan on running SOLO 2 be aware.... EDFC isn't legal in any class to my knowlage... and for autocross its easy enough to turn a few ***** after each run any way.... For open track it may be good for inital tuing, as you wont have to come in to the pits to tweak any thing.

EDFC is for lazy people who cant open there hood to adjust there damper.
i say go with a tein ss or omni. get some stiffer spring rates, so you can change them out when you hit the track.
and if you got a hot date with tig ol bitis then set your **** to stiff and enjoy the show.
