I think I read somewhere that a beefier front sway bar might also help with reducing wheel hop. Someone please confirm.

Get an LSD. It will take all the shock out of that side of your car. Put the power to the ground more effectively.

Summit racing has the energy suspension motor mount inserts for our cars, you may have to call and ask for them though. They cost $35 and are the best mod for our cars given the cost they will elliminate wheel hop. the front one is simple to install but the back one may take an hour or two. The only downside is that they create alot more vibration throughout the car especially if the heater or AC is on.

Rob at robearracing.com used to have the inserts... cant find them, maybe PM him about it.... they were inexpensive too.... I think a few members on here have/had them and they said wheel hop was eliminated but the car vibrates a lot. Basically, the chassis of the car is taking in all the vibrations from the engine and not the mounts. Maybe if wheel hop is that big of a deal to you, then it just might be a worth while investment, but there are other methods like as zzyzx stated, shock/strut

not sure, but all that you need to do is remove the front and the rear mounts (one at a time) and fit the inserts in it is not that hard. The front one is easy and is only a matter of 4 bolts (three that hold it to the tranny and the one that goes through the center and attaches it to the subframe). It will then be easily removed and the inserts can be placed in and it can be reinstalled the reverse of removal. The back one is a different story it is three bolts to the tranny and the # to the subframe varies with how you get it out. Getting it out is the trick because it is a very tight area and you have to FVck with it until you get it out. Unfortunately it is just as hard to get it back in. If you are mechanically inclined it should be no problem just a bit of frustration.
