Powder coating rear lower tie bar

Hey guys, i just got my Progress rear sway / tie combo yesterday. Anyway, I live in NH and they use alot of salt on the roads, So my question is did anyone powder coat their tie bar? Im asking beacuse I think its just aluminum and I don't want it getting discolored and ugly looking from salt.

If I lived up north, I'd save up for a POS car that I could drive when it snows. Never would I subject MY civic to those horrible and car accident prone conditions.

Nah you don't know how much fun your missing out on, driving sideways is a blast. Plus it is JUST a civic.

I rustoleumed mine. I don't think its worth paying to powdercoat it, but whatever frosts your cookie. If its aluminum, all you really gotta do is put some polish on it and keep it clean and nothing should happen. Get some clearcoat and spray it. Or realize its under the car and stop caring.

Yea I also thought about spray bombing it too, but the place I work at sends alot of parts to the powder coater / anodizer so I could probably get it for cheap.

I know its under the car and I shouldn't really care, but I've seen aluminum parts get pitted and nasty looking from salt.
