Problem With OEM Sway Bar End Links, Help!!!

Last night I was removing my aftermarket exhaust which was welded on and after removing all the hangers, I then realized it was welded on and I tried pulling it through the back, but the sway bar was in the way, so I decided I would remove it. Well I started to remove the bolt on one side of the end link on the top, but it didnt come all the way off, it just kept spinning. Well after trying to tighten it back up, I still had the problem of the bolt spinning. So now I have a loose endlink because the top nut wont turn. When I try to tighten it, the hole bolt spins. There is a circle washer in the middle, do I need to hold that while I turn the bolt? I tryed doing that last night but nothing worked. What do you all suggest I do here? I know some of you have experience with the endlinks. I dont want to drive the car yet because of the loose endlink.

So did you use a 5mm Allen wrench in the slot right in the middle of the endlink nut? You have to hold a 5mm wrench in there while using a 14mm wrench to loosen/tighten the actual nut. Otherwise it'll just keep on spinning.

Shlomo is an unknown quantity at this point
yeah, a 5mm allen key should work. if it doesn't use a something to hold that washer down while you turn the nut. thats what i had to do when swapping sway bars.
