"Technical Service Bulletins (TSB'S) are fixes to known problems that dealer service departments have alerted the vehicle manufacturer. Recurring customer complaints, part failure, and other mechanical trouble is compiled into a TSB. Usually only new car dealers have access to TSB'S, and the amount of money and time they can save diagnosing and repairing your vehicle is phenomenal. Technical Service Bulletins can save you tons of valuable time and money.

If there is a TSB out for a problem and you take the car in to get that problem fixed under warranty, is the dealership obligated to fix the problem at their expense? I took my car into the dealership for a TSB item once and they refused to do anything about it—they said it was "normal" for Civics to have the problem.

IN light that you apparently street race the car... you may have damaged the dog teeth on the 2nd gear collar enough that they will no longer hold them selves in to the gear...
that happened to my friend then one day his clutch pedel dropped on the floor and he couldnt drive it...honda replaced his tranny...i forget what the matter was but honda should cover it...oh yea he had an 01...it happened like a year after he got it
sounds like the same problem i have, second gear is pretty rough, and takes a good amount of force to get it in gear. If I take my car to the dealer to get it fixed, will they take care of the problem even I have a short shifter installed? I have the neuspeed short shifter, so its drilled in.
