cracking noise at 2k

In neutral, and in 1st gear, when I rev to around 2k-25k i hear a cracking sounding noise near the center console. I took it to a shop to have them listen in. They think its the water heater valve or something. Also could be I have some air in the heating unit or something? Anywayz, I'm taking it to Honda to get it fixed (Mwahaha new car warranty) so yea, If anyone else is hearing this stuffff, thats what it might be. mine is 04 ex by the way.

i got the same issue on my 03 civic. got 28k miles. i hear the water try to make it through the pipes on the glove compartment side. Let me know if honda finds any problem with this. or it could be simply air in the system. let me know though . Thanks

finally got it checked out at Honda. They think it's either water in my heating system making the noise...or some wise rattling around on something. Either way I am taking it in on tuesday at 7am to drop it off so they can tear it apart and check it out..hopefully they can fix it. PLUS! I get a rental car..mwahaha, offroading time!! But I'll get back to you guys on what it was.

i just got back from the dealer and i asked him to see if he could find out. and they said that AC drain system was blocked so they drained it and unblocked it by pressuring air in it and now i dont hear that noise from those pipes. Does this make sense ?
