T25 Question..
I found a T25 turbo that I was considering buying.. I know these are small turbos and this one only has .48A/R.. I'm not looking to overly boost my car, just to run about 4-8psi while having a quick-spooling turbo.. I was just wondering if on our engines, will this size of a turbo just crap out at a higher RPM because of its size or what?
Also, would I be able to do a custom t28 hybrid if I got this rebuilt with a t3 compressor housing?
I hope I don't get flamed here for asking some questions but I wanted to know!

here is a T25 flanged turbo to spin your wheels
GT3071R-WG Dual BB, 86AR, 90 Trim Turbine
Based upon the same turbo as the HIGH flowing, larger framed GT3071R, but conveniently packaged into the same style turbine housing as the popular GT28Rs/GT2871R turbos. This turbo is uniquely configured with its own turbo wheel trim, turbine A/R, and compressor housing. Unlike, the GT28RS and GT2871R, this turbo now has a much larger compressor housing to support the much higher flowing 71mm compressor wheel. Comes with T25 style inlet flange.
Turbine
-Wheel: 56.5mm w/ 90 trim
-Housing: 0.86 a/r
-Internally Wastegated (No Actuator)
-Maps: Not Available
Compressor
-Wheel: 71mm w/ 56 trim
-Housing: .50 a/r
-Inlet: 4.00"
-Maps: Not Available
the GT2871R is rated up to 400hp so im sure this turbo can more that meet ANY need you could ever had

Thanks alot for the reply! Do you think the .48Ar for the turbine housing is initially too small though? And with it that small, am I still able to throw a t3 compressor housing onto it? There are some t3 compressors on ebay and since I'd get the t25 rebuilt anyway, I might as well throw on the t3 compressor, you know? I just wanted to know if there were specs that had to match up perfectly or anything..

from what ive read the T25 SHOULD be plenty big unless you plan to achieve more then 200hp. The nice thing about the t25 is it should spool up FASSSSSSSSSSSSSST

Sweet.. Thanks alot for all the info!
That's basically what I wanted to hear.. I was just concerned because of the .48AR trim and I thought maybe it was too small.. I like the T25 because it's a fast spooler and I don't want a retardedly fast car.
Thanks again for the info! Anyone know if I can slap the t3 compressor on the t25 if I do a rebuild though too?
